Comrade Vishwanth Ram has been at the centre of anti-feudal struggles since the decade of the 70s. Under his leadership the poor of Banauli and Chasi regions in Bhojpur, notorious for feudal oppression, organized themselves; the battle began for the respect and dignity of the dalits and the poor, the oppressed and the suppressed and victorious red flags were seen in many villages. Com Vishwanath was firmly opposed to the communal ideology. He never took a step back from any battle front, always fighting firmly on. Com Vishwanath Ram passed away suddenly at 3 am on the morning of 28 November.
Condolences and tributes were paid to him at his village Banauli by many who loved and honoured him including CPI(ML) Agiaon Block Secretary Raghuvar Paswan, AIKM leader Bimal Yadav and Sarpanch Basant Das. We Shall Fulfill Senior CPI(ML) Leader Com Vishwanath Ram’s Dream.
