CPI(ML) State Secretary Kunal has stated that the evidence of involvement of several RJD, JD(U) and BJP leaders and many Bihar government Ministers and MLAs is an extremely serious issue. He termed the scam the VYAPAM of Bihar which has been continuing openly for a long time under the united political patronage of these parties. The mahagathbandhan and BJP leaders rail against each other only to fool the people. This scam has once again proved that both these alliances are actually competing to benefit themselves by depriving the people of their rights. Com Kunal said that the Party has from the start been demanding a CBI enquiry into the political patronage given to this scam. In the topper scam also we had organized a movement across Bihar and stressed that the truth would come out only if the political patronage angle is probed. But the Nitish government has been evading this demand and has only been targeting the small fish. Now the issue is gradually getting exposed and the people of Bihar are slowly beginning to understand the truth behind the scams which are being done in the name of education. Today the education system in Bihar has become rotten and the brunt is being borne by students from the weaker and dalit sections who are being deprived of the right to education. Education and exams in Bihar have become a business for earning money and profits and the Bihar government is playing with the future of students. The government should make public the names of all the people named by Parmeshwar Ram and legal action should be taken on all of them. The CPI(ML) had demanded a CBI enquiry into the BSSC scam in its entirety.
Com Kunal further said the Nitish government and the BJP have the same attitude with regard to destroying education in Bihar and snatching away employment opportunities from the youth. The names of BJP leaders who talk big are also being connected with this scam and it should not be forgotten that BJP ruled States are the cradle for scams like the murderous VYAPAM scam; the BJP has, therefore, no right to speak on these issues.
