CPI (ML) Protest During PM Narendra Modi’s Visit to Odisha

CPI (ML) Odisha unit organised a protest during the visit of PM Narendra Modi to Odisha to participate in the National Executive Council meeting of the BJP on April 15 along with Raman Singh, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. The protest rally started from Nagbhusan Bhavan to Vidhan Sabha Marg raising the slogans- “Where are the Acche Din”; “No saffronisation in Odisha”; “Stop exploitation of Mahanadi water; “Modi-Raman down down” and more. They were led by Central Committee Member Com. Yudhisthir Mahapatra, AICCTU Secretary Com. Mahendra Parida, Com. Ashok Pradhan of AIKMS and Com. Satyabadi Behera, state president of AIARLA. Com. Mahapatra expressed how the Modi government is cheating the common masses of Odisha by offering to bring development through demonetization and bringing back black money to Jan-Dhan account. Modi in his three years of rule has done nothing as per his election promise. He pointed out that, saffronisation agenda will be opposed in Odisha and CPI (ML) will launch a massive campaign against it along with other democratic forces.
