Comrade Churaman Bhagat, one of the TADA victims in the Jehanabad–Arwal region who had been released on 19 March after 23 years of incarceration in a fabricated case, passed away on the afternoon of 30 July. He had hoisted the party flag at the recent Arwal district conference of the party on 3 April 2026.
