Stand with Junaid: CPIML MP Condemns Harassment of Student Movement Supporter

CPI(ML) MP Raja Ram Singh and AISA President Neha met Mohammad Junaid at CPIML Parliamentary Office in Delhi on July 30 to express their deepest gratitude and unwavering solidarity for his courageous support to the student-youth movement at Jantar Mantar. At a time when students and young people were fighting for justice, Junaid stood with them selflessly, providing free food, water, and other essential amenities that sustained the protest and reflected the spirit of people's solidarity.

For this act of solidarity and humanity, Junaid and his family have been subjected to relentless harassment by the Delhi and Uttar Pradesh Police and a vicious hate campaign by the right-wing ecosystem.

Raja Ram Singh and Neha reaffirmed that the CPI(ML) and AISA, along with the entire student-youth community, stand shoulder to shoulder with Mohammad Junaid and his family. They strongly condemned the campaign of harassment and hate unleashed against them, asserting that these attempts to intimidate those who stand in solidarity with democratic movements will not succeed. They declared that every attempt to silence voices of solidarity will be met with stronger, broader, and more determined solidarity. The movement will continue to defend all those who courageously stand for justice, equality, and democratic rights, and no campaign of intimidation will weaken the collective resolve to resist hatred and uphold democratic values.
