The 7th CPI (ML) Pidri local unit in Darbhanga district held its conference on 16 October 2017 at Shaheed Baleshwar Paswan Nagar (Chhaprar). The conference began with a unity-meeting presided over by a 5-member Board and conducted by AIARLA District President Com. Jangi Yadav.
Addressing the conference, Politburo member Com. Dhirendra Jha said that the pro-corporate and anti-poor face of the Modi government stands thoroughly exposed. Ambani-Adani-Ramdev are growing in leaps and bounds and recently the humongous corruption by Amit Shah’s son Jay Shah during the note ban phase has come to light. The poor are being kept out of education, employment, health, and all development.
State Committee member, Com. Abhishek Kumar said that the government is ignoring the issues and rights of farmers and sharecroppers and if they do not meet demands of compensation, loan waivers and purchase price, a decisive battle will be fought on these issues. A resolution was passed to join the farmers’ and sharecroppers’ unity meeting in large numbers on 5 November when the Kisan Mukti Yatra would reach Darbhanga.
