Protests Held Against NSA Charges on Bhim Army Leader Chandrashekhar Raavan

The CPI(ML) condemned the Yogi Government for invoking NSA against the incarcerated Bhim Army leader Chandrashekhar Azad Raavan, saying that this further exposes the anti-Dalit character of the BJP. The NSA has been invoked at a time when the Bhim Army leader had got bail from the High Court and was about to get out of jail.

The CPI(ML) held protests at Siwan and Bhojpur on 6 November demanding the release of Chandrashekhar Raavan and withdrawal of the draconian NSA charges. Signature campaigns with this demand were conducted by AISA and RYA in campuses and Dalit hostels, and the AISA-RYA Student-Youth Rights Campaign is also raising this question prominently.
