Comrade Rajala Yesuratnam, member of the CPI(ML) Liberation Kakinada District Committee, district leader of the All India Progressive Women’s Association, and a resident of Lampakalova village, passed away on April 29, 2026. A committed revolutionary and a dedicated organiser of the people, Comrade Yesuratnam was actively involved for many years in struggles over people’s issues, most notably the land struggles in Lampakalova and Prathipadu mandals. She stood firmly with the rural poor and working people, contributing to the advancement of democratic and people’s movements in the region. Her untimely demise is an irreparable loss to the party, the women’s movement and the broader struggles of the oppressed and exploited.
