The students of Government Degree College in Yeleswaram Mdl in East Godavari in Andhra Pradesh participated in the Raasta Roko call on 2 March given by district leaders from CPI (ML) and also joined the demonstration against the occupation of college land by local politicians. These politicians own a power plant near the college premises and are now trying to occupy the college premises too in order to establish and pull heavy voltage power lines through it. More than 200 students under the party district leadership participated and strongly condemned this illegal occupation of government college property by private parties.
