A rally was organized by CPI (ML) unit in East Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh to protest against the abuse of Tribal certificates in the area of Rampachodavaram. The Mandal Revenue Officers and other concerned authorities have issuing fake tribal identity certificates for Non-tribals and thereby denying the tribal students and unemployed youth of their rights and opportunities meant for them. The certificates while being issued to the non tribals, are being denied to the deserving tribes locally as a result of which the non Tribals are making use of the provisions and opportunities that are meant to benefit them. The rally was organised at Rajavommangi Mandal of east Godavari district.
