Com. Ramsakal Das, a senior comrade of the party from Muzaffarpur passed away on the morning of 10 October due to heart failure. Popular among people as Master Sahab, Com. Ramsakal had been a member of the district committee of the party for three decades and had been the secretary of the Muzaffarpur Nagar unit. Com. Ramsakal’s house was in Mushari, known for Naxalbari movement. He had joined the party in 1985 while he was a teacher in a school in Muzaffarpur. Three years ago, he retired as a principal of the school. He never allowed his job to come in the way of party work. In fact, because of his teaching work, he was able to establish a deep political-social relation with the people he met. Soon after joining the party, he became involved in the election campaign of the IPF candidate Bochaha. Since then, he served leading role in the party as secretary -in charge of Mushari, Bochaha, Kudni and Muzaffarpur Nagar units of the party. He led a simple life and was always jovial, smiling and warm. His demise is a huge loss for the party. The Muzaffarpur party unit resolves to turn this grief into strength and carry forward his legacy.
