A Sankalp Sabha (memorial meeting) was organized at Karpi Block HQ in Arwal district on 10 November 2017 to observe the 14th martyrdom anniversary of CPI(ML) and AIPWA leader Com Manju Devi. Addressing the memorial meeting, CPI(ML) District Secretary Mahanand said that Com Manju was the voice of the poor and a revolutionary leader. Frightened by her growing popularity, the BJP-supported Ranveer Sena killed her. It is our responsibility to fulfill the dream of Com Manju. The meeting was also addressed by youth leader Chandraprabha Devi, RYA District Secretary Ravindra Yadav, Rampravesh Singh, Leela Verma, Jitendra Yadav, Upendra Paswan and others.
