People of Ganeshpalem village of Vinukonda mandal in Guntur district are waging struggle against illegal occupation on 60 acres of ceiling surplus land by an absentee landlord for the last three months. CPI(ML) has been raising this issue consistently with various administrative officials. Many rallies and protests were held in past months before the MRO office as well as district collector office but officials kept a deliberate silence tacitly protecting the illegal occupation. Recently hundreds of villagers seized the said land in question and hoisted the red flags in the field. CPI(ML) AP state committee member comrade Nagamani, district leader Ramdev, AIKM leader Anjaneyulu, Bhaskar rao, Prabhakar and many student comrades stood side by side with the villagers’ struggle committee in this struggle.
