Protesting against the massive scale of corruption in the Bihar intermediate education, eight left wing student and youth activists have begun an indefinite hunger strike in Patna. The 8 activists belong to AISA, SFI, AISF, AIDSO, AIYF, RYA, DYFI and AIDYO. The main demands of the hunger strike are:

i. Re-declaration of the results after free of cost re-evaluation of all the answer copies.
ii. A high-level inquiry of the entire case
iii. Dismissal of the Education Minister
iv. A revamping of the education system in Bihar
v. Implementation of common school system in Bihar.
