The Mess workers’ union of PEC University of Technology in Chandigarh held a protest dharna on 4 July to press for their demand of recovery of due Employees Provident Fund. The recovery amount is estimated to be more than ten million rupees. The Protest was addressed by comrade Kanwaljeet Singh along with the leaders of the AICCTU affiliated union.
