Comrade Rajkumar Paswan from Patan, Jharkhand, active in the CPI(ML) movement since the 1990s, passed away on Sunday, 31 August 2025. He had served as a block committee member several times and was a district council member of the All India Kisan Mahasabha.
His last rites were performed at Kharaundha village in Patan, with red salutes and the slogan "Comrade Rajkumar Paswan Amar Rahe." A condolence meeting, presided over by AIKM Palamu district secretary Kamesh Singh Chero, was attended by CPI(ML) and AIKM leaders along with a large gathering.
People remembered Comrade Paswan as a lifelong fighter for the poor, workers and oppressed, and resolved to carry forward his dreams.
