CPIML and RMPI Pay Tribute to Martyr Comrade Deepak Dhawan in Tarn Taran

Amid the ongoing joint campaign against soaring fuel prices, growing unemployment and the drug menace in Punjab, comrades of CPI(ML) Liberation and RMPI paid tribute to martyr Comrade Deepak Dhawan at Tarn Taran on 19 May, marking his 39th martyrdom anniversary.

Comrade Deepak Dhawan was killed by Khalistani terrorists on 19 May 1987. Remembering his revolutionary legacy, speakers at the memorial meeting said that Comrade Deepak’s martyrdom continues to inspire the struggle against communalism, terrorism, unemployment, inflation and the anti-people policies of the ruling forces.

The memorial meeting was addressed by RMPI General Secretary Comrade Mangat Ram Pasla, CPI(ML) Central Committee Member Comrade Kanwaljeet, Punjab State Standing Committee Member Comrade Balbir Jhamka, Comrade Dalvinder Pannu and several other activists.
