CPI(ML) Liberation held a Kakinada district activists’ meeting at the Lines Club in Prattipadu, Andhra Pradesh. The meeting was held on September 14, and called for strengthening the struggle against anti-people policies.
Addressing the gathering, Polit Bureau member Comrade Shankar, State Secretary Comrade Bugata Bangarrao and District Secretary Comrade Egupati Arjunarao urged people to resist the anti-constitutional and anti-people policies of the Modi-RSS led BJP government. Comrade Shankar condemned the BJP’s attempt to delete lakhs of votes in Bihar and criticised the Modi government’s surrender of India’s sovereignty to US imperialism.
Comrade Bangarrao said the ruling TDP alliance in Andhra Pradesh is faithfully implementing BJP policies while failing to fulfil promises, and accused both TDP and YCP of sacrificing the state’s interests for their own gains. Comrade Arjunarao stressed the need for united struggles to protect the rights of the poor and marginalised.
Activists and leaders from across Kakinada district participated in the meeting.
