The Central Committee of CPI(ML) expresses deep sorrow at the passing of Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, who has been a towering leader and an inspiring icon for Jharkhand and for the battle for the rights of the indigenous people across India. Ever since the formation of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha along with Comrades Binod Bihari Mahato and AK Roy, Shibu Soren ji has played an anchor role in the movement for dignity and justice for the people of Jharkhand.
His demise on August 4, 2025 has created an irreparable loss in the political and social landscape of Jharkhand.
