A protest was held at the district collectorate in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, on 10 March on the call of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha against the US Israel attack on Iran. The demonstration was organised by organisations including All India Kisan Mahasabha, All India Kisan Sabha, Krantikari Kisan Union, Jai Kisan Andolan and Rashtriya Muslim Nyay Manch. Protesters raised slogans for world peace and burnt an effigy of US President Donald Trump. Speakers condemned the attack on Iran and said it undermines the sovereignty of a nation. They also criticised the Modi government’s silence and called on India to take steps to stop the war and work with other countries to uphold global peace.
The protest was addressed by leaders including CPI(ML) leader Phoolchand Dhewa, CPI(M) leader Phoolchand Barwar and All India Kisan Mahasabha leader Ramchandra Kulhari, among others.
