An anti war march was organised by CPI(ML) Liberation in Patna on 7 March against the US Israeli aggression on Iran. The protest strongly condemned the US led imperialist colonial aggression and warned that the assault poses a serious threat to global peace and humanity.
The march began from GPO Golambar and proceeded through Station Road to Station Golambar, where a public meeting was held. Addressing the gathering, CPI(ML) MLC Shashi Yadav said that the attack on Iran is a ploy by the Trump regime to subjugate West Asia and other countries of the Global South, grab their resources and colonise their people. She said the escalation of war is being used to divert global attention from other issues, including the Epstein paedophilia files and Epstein’s links with Trump.
CPI(ML) senior leader KD Yadav demanded that the Modi government stop being complicit in this colonial project of Trump and adopt a clear stand against the attacks on Iran. He said the Indian government must raise its voice on international platforms in defence of peace, oppose the imperialist war drive and take diplomatic initiatives for an immediate end to the aggression.
Speakers said that the people of India stand firmly for peace, justice and national sovereignty. They expressed solidarity with the people of Iran and their resistance against imperialist aggression. The meeting also appealed to peace loving people across the world to unite and raise their voices against war and imperialism and to strengthen the global struggle for peace.
