Comrade Arjun Prasad Yadav, veteran leader of the CPI(ML) in Bhagalpur and former District Committee member, passed away on the morning of 20 April 2025 at the age of 82. A lifelong fighter for workers' rights, he served as the first District Secretary and later State Secretary of the Bihar Nirman Mazdoor Union (AICCTU). He had been in a coma since 7 April and was under treatment in Bhagalpur and Kolkata before his passing at Mayaganj Hospital.
Even in his later years, Comrade Arjun remained deeply engaged with people’s movements, inspiring generations of activists through his unwavering commitment and simplicity. We salute Comrade Arjun Prasad Yadav and pledge to carry forward his revolutionary legacy.
