Comrade Gupteshwar Singh joined the CPI(ML) in 1985 and took an active part in the struggles against feudal forces in the Palamu division while serving as a government teacher. He was a long-standing member of the district committee. He passed away on 9 August after suffering a brain haemorrhage and paralysis. Red salute to Comrade Gupteshwar Singh.
