Comrade Kumar Mathuresh Prasad, a courageous leader of the employee movement in Bihar’s Kosi region, passed away following a sudden heart attack. Beginning his career as an additional clerk in the Registry Office, he dedicated his life to organizing over seven thousand additional clerks and securing their regularization and pensions.
A veteran of many struggles under IPF and CPIML in Saharsa, Supaul, and Madhepura, he faced dismissals from service but fought back each time with determination. Even after retirement in his village Naugachia, he remained deeply connected to the movement.
