A recent investigation by Rajasthan Police revealed that a "Guess Paper" of the NEET UG examination had been circulating since before the examination. The paper reportedly leaked over 600 marks worth of answers. Without any accountability and action, the NTA has simply chosen to reconduct the examinations!
A staggering 89 incidents of paper leaks have come to light in the past 10 years. From incidents of massive paper leaks in JEE Mains 2021, NEET UG 2024, UGC NET 2024 to several others, the NTA has proven its incompetence and utter disregard for students education and hardwork. The NEET UG 2026 paper leak is yet another display of the incompetence and corruption of NTA and the BJP government that had surrendered the future of lakhs of students to the interests of the private coaching mafia. *Year after year the saga of paper leaks continues across competitive examinations* with *no proper action has been taken by the government so far* and instead simply provided immunity to the corrupt and incompetent NTA!
In a country like India which already has an astonishing suicide rates with students suicide increasing every year (4.5% from 2020 to 2021), these paper leaks not only create extreme distress for the concerned students, but also display the shortcomings of a centralised examination model under private bodies like NTA with no accountability. We demand that such examinations be undertaken by transparent and accountable government bodies. Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan must take direct accountability of this failure and resign. We also demand that the role of private coaching mafia be exposed and those responsible be held accountable for not only the series of paper leaks but for the role in the systematic destruction of public education!
